Supermarkets
A well-stocked Co-op and a Spar in town, big supermarkets in Harrogate
Pateley Bridge has two well-stocked grocery shops right in town, so a full supermarket trip to Harrogate or Ripon is rarely necessary unless you specifically need a particular big-name store.
The Dales Market Corner on Low Wath Road is a good-sized shop stocked with Co-op groceries, and covers pretty much everything you could need day to day, including vegan and free-from options. It also doubles as the town's petrol station and has an Evri parcel drop-off point.
On the High Street itself, Spar (5-7 High Street, HG3 5AP) is smaller but well stocked, and is just a minute's walk from the Dales Market Corner, handy if you need to pop into both.
For a bigger supermarket shop with a wider range of brands, Harrogate is about 30 minutes away and has Aldi, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco and several smaller stores. Ripon, also about 30 minutes away, has a Morrisons.
For everything else, the High Street has independent bakers and specialist food shops well worth a browse, and our places to eat guide covers the pubs, cafes and restaurants if you would rather eat out than self-cater.
