Book early for summer weekends
Popular cottages and the better B&Bs in the dale get booked months in advance for July and August weekend breaks. Book as early as you can.
September fills fast
The Nidderdale Show weekend in September is the dale's biggest annual event. Accommodation within 15 miles books out very quickly - plan ahead if this is your target.
Travelling with dogs
Many cottages in the area welcome dogs - look for the dog-friendly filter on Sykes and Airbnb. A small number of B&Bs also welcome well-behaved dogs. Always confirm before booking.
