Public Toilets
Two public toilets in town, plus cafes and pubs happy to help
Pateley Bridge has two public toilets, one at the Recreation Ground near the Dales Market Corner and one by the car park just off the High Street, with most cafes, tearooms and pubs happy to help too. For a small town, it is well covered.
The Recreation Ground toilets, near the Dales Market Corner and beside the River Nidd, sit right at the start of the riverside loop walk, making them a sensible stop before you set off or as you finish up.
The second public toilet is by the car park just off the High Street, handy if you are shopping or eating out rather than down by the river.
Beyond the two public toilets, most cafes, tearooms and pubs on the High Street are happy for customers to use their facilities - it is good manners to ask first, and a coffee or a browse of the shop is always appreciated in return.
