Genuinely delicious, properly Italian
Just off the High Street on Bridgehouse Gate, Olley's occupies a handsome stone and exposed-brick building with real character: a dark green bar lined with wine racks and a Guinness tap, a cosy fireside dining room through a brick archway, and further seating up a stone spiral staircase. It is one of the nicest places in Pateley Bridge to sit down inside, whatever the weather is doing outside.
The food matches the setting. Wood-fired pizzas and a full Italian menu are cooked properly, generously, and with real care, and the staff are some of the friendliest you will find on the High Street. It is a restaurant we genuinely recommend without reservation.
There is no separate vegan menu, but vegan cheese is kept behind the bar and the kitchen is happy to make any pizza, or anything else on the menu, vegan on request. Just ask when you order.
